Drop an Egg and Dance the Chicken Dance.

The 3 adults in the foreground are.....The school nurse talking with the vice principal who is dressed like a chicken and Ivy's kindergarten teacher who is watching the egg drop.
Anna is a less excited spectator. She did not want to dance the chicken dance even though the vice principal did an awesome job leading all the kids in it.
In preparation for the egg drop the kids had to wrap an egg in such a way that when it was tossed from the roof of the school, the egg would not break.

After all the eggs from Ivy's class had been dropped they took them back to class and opened up the various boxes and wrappings. Ivy's egg was packed in bread dough that Ivy made her self and her egg was just fine. Most of the surviving eggs actually came from boxes or tubs packed with some kind of food. Cooked noodles seems to work well. If you are ever doing this don't use Styrofoam packing noodles they shift around to much and all the eggs packed in just those got completely crushed.
Ivy with one of the girls from her class, and Astrid having a great time.
