It is to hot outside!

So let's change the subject!

Last winter was a very cold one. We actually had snow 3 times! 

This snowfall happened in February and was by far the biggest we've had in years!

So just to clarify.This is allot of snow for Pflugerville. To put things in perspective I still had tomatoes growing plentifully in my back yard until mid December when we cut down all the plants and saved the fruit so it could finish ripening in the sun inside the house.

Anna did not like the snow. the last 2 times that it snowed it did not stick and only fell for a few minutes. This was the first time that any of the kids remembered really playing in the snow and Anna quickly had enough of it. Once she was enjoying the experience from the comfort of her bed she liked it allot more.

Astrid had a blast and was excited to get back in it.

It just kept falling. I kept waiting for it to start melting but it just slowly became whiter and whiter.

Anna did not want to go back out so Astrid went and played in the back yard. I tried and tried to get a picture of her throwing the snow but she was to fast for the camera.

The Dog does not have a super thick coat of hair so he spend allot of time inside the house. He was much like Anna not all that impressed by the snow.

Astrid eventually got wet shoes and hands and came back inside crying because she was to cold.

Ian and Ivy got to play in the snow at school.

The next day the snow was gone and all was back to normal.
